Burlington Police Investigate Possible Shooting

BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Police in Burlington are investigating a possible shooting that happened Tuesday night.

Police say a gun may have gone off when two men were fighting in the area of Loomis Street near the intersection of North Prospect Street just after 9 p.m.

At this time, it is unknown if anyone was injured. The pair left the area before police arrived.

Police describe one man as black. He was wearing black pants and black hooded sweatshirt. The other man is described as a white with long hair.

Police believe this was an isolated incident.
