CONCORD, N.H. -

New Hampshire officials say a man shot his wife - a popular Lebanon High School teacher - multiple times in the head at the Grantham home they shared with their four young children.

Attorney General Michael Delaney says the autopsy on 42-year-old Natalie Perriello is complete. Her husband, 41-year-old James Perriello, has been charged with second-degree murder.

Prosecutors say James Perriello shot his wife multiple times Thursday night. He is being held without bond and is scheduled to return to Newport District Court on May 8 for a probable cause hearing.

Natalie Perriello was nominated for state teacher of the year in 2007. She taught computer technology and personal finance at Lebanon High School for the past four years. She was at Canaan Elementary School for 14 years before that.
