BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Thursday night in Burlington, comedy icon Joan Rivers will share the stage with an area comedian.
Comedian and Vermont legislator Jason Lorber is Rivers' opening act. Lorber says he has been doing comedy for twenty years and performs all around New England.
He says, after a competition, Rivers picked him to open for her.
"I am pretty exited. Joan Rivers has been doing this for decades. She's been doing comedy for longer than I have been alive and she still looks better than me," says Lorber.
The show starts at 7:30PM at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts and as of Thursday afternoon, there were still tickets available.
