Rutland Police Searching for Missing Man

RUTLAND, Vt. -

Rutland Police are looking for a missing man.

Police say, co-workers of James Patten notified police after he didn't show up for work, which was highly unusual.

Co-workers located Patten's vehicle, unsecured, in the Price Chopper parking lot at the Rutland Shopping Plaza. He was last seen around 10:30 Monday Night.

Patten is currently homeless, but has been sleeping in his vehicle and/or boarding houses in the Rutland, Vt. area.

Police describe Patten as 6'2" tall, dark hair, blue eyes, athletic and wearing athletic type clothing (EMS, Under Armor, Adidas, etc.).
