BURLINGTON, Vt. -
Construction on a project to replace sewer lines is still ongoing on College St. in Burlington.
The project was supposed to be completed last week. Construction workers say it's a very difficult site to work on.
"Not so much because the pipe is old that we're replacing but because over the years everything has been placed on top of it," Steve Goodkind, Burlington Department of Works Director said. "The utility lines, electrical vaults, all kinds of things that make it very difficult to work on this site."
Crews expect to wrap up the project before the week ends.
