Phew! It was a toasty one today! Temperatures were in the 80s region-wide with even the mountain tops near 70 degrees! How's that for mid April? (but you're used to it after March, right?)
High temperatures in the northeast, mid-Atlantic and New England were the hottest across the country (do you believe that?!). Not even Miami, Florida could top our temperatures with Miami at 82, but Burlington at 85.
Here were the daily records for Monday:

Rutland: 88
Massena, NY: 86
Montpelier: 84 (tied)
Mt. Mansfield: 68 (tied)
