Operation Cookie is an effort to send thousands of boxes of Girl Scout cookies to servicemen and women around the globe.

Cookies reach troops in Japan, Middle East, and service members in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains is accepting financial donations until April 12 to support Operation Cookie. A case of cookies, which includes 12 boxes, costs $42, and cases are labeled with the name of the donor and include a greeting to the troops.

To send a donation, send a letter with your name and mailing address, and a check payable to GSGWM to: GSGWM, PO Box 10832, Bedford, NH 03110-0832.
