Burlington, Vermont – A house caught fire in downtown Burlington Friday morning.
Fox 44's Tyson Foster says the house is on George Street which is off of Pearl Street.
Fire officials say there were two people inside the house when the fire started but they were able to get out by themselves.
They say the fire has been put out.
The fire started on the ground floor on the back of the building and then spread to the second floor, fire officials said.
Investigators are now trying to figure out what caused the fire.
There is a section of Pearl Street that has been blocked off but officials say it will only be for a short time.
