I received my Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
Where have you worked previously?
I spent 2 years working as a reporter/anchor at WETM 18 News in Elmira, NY
What was the most challenging story you've ever done?
In November, 2009 a young boy from Elmira, NY came down with Swine Flu. During that time the community held numerous fundraiser's and I interacted with his family during their time at the hospital. A few weeks after coming down with the infection, Elijah Nist lost his life. Reporting on that story in the days and weeks afterwards was one of the hardest things I've had to cover as a journalist.

What are your favorite hobbies?
I am a sucker for reality TV. I've remained a loyal Survivor fan, but by far my favorite show is American Idol. I also love to ski, which is a great perk to living in the Green Mountain State.
What are your favorite sports teams?
Being from Massachusetts means naturally I am a Boston Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics fan, but when it comes to the NFL I have remain loyal to the Buffalo Bills since the early 1990's. As far as college, I bleed Orange for Syracuse.
What is your favorite book?
Books 1-7 of the Harry Potter series
What is your favorite food?
Steak, and there's no better place to eat it than my favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse!
What is one thing you would put on a "bucket list"?
Visiting the Egyptian pyramids.
