
BOSTON (AP) - The Chicago Blackhawks beat the Boston Bruins 6-5 in overtime to even the Stanley Cup finals 2-2. It was the third overtime game of the series. The Blackhawks won the opener 4-3 in three overtimes, and the Bruins won 2-1 in the first overtime period in Game 2. Boston grabbed the series lead Monday night 2-0 behind Tuukka Rask's third shutout of the postseason. Game 5 of the best-of-7 series is Saturday night.

BOSTON (AP) - Boston Bruins center Jaromir Jagr has reached a major milestone. He became the 19th skater and 21st player to reach 200 NHL playoff games last night. Jagr burst into the NHL with Pittsburgh's 1990-91 Stanley Cup winners.
BOSTON (AP) - The Boston Bruins hope they can help their city heal from the hurt caused by the Boston Marathon bombings. Coach Claude Julien says people are looking for something to smile about right now, and it might as well be his team. However, he says he knows that winning the Stanley Cup won't make the tragedy go away. Three people were killed and hundreds more wounded when two bombs exploded on April 15th.
BOSTON (AP) - The Tampa Bay Rays ended their drought at Fenway Park, beating the Red Sox 6-2 last night. Desmond Jennings homered and Jeremy Hellickson pitched six strong innings for the Rays. Red Sox starter Ryan Dempster gave up three runs on eight hits over six innings.
BOSTON (AP) - Boston Red Sox catcher David Ross is headed to Pittsburgh today to be examined by a concussion specialist. Ross is currently on the 7-day concussion disabled list. Ross was hit in the head by a foul ball over the weekend. Last month, he suffered a similar injury.
BOSTON (AP) - The Boston Red Sox made it official yesterday and signed first-round draft pick, left-handed pitcher Trey Ball to his first professional contract worth $2.75 million. Ball was the seventh overall pick in the draft and highest Red Sox selection since Trot Nixon in 1993.
CROMWELL, Conn. (AP) - Justin Rose says he may need adrenaline to carry him through the Travelers Championship after winning the U.S. Open last week. Rose says he had always planned to play a three-week stretch starting at Merion, and loves playing the TPC River Highlands course in Cromwell, Connecticut, where he has three top-10 finishes in seven starts.
BOSTON (AP) - Authorities say a Boston man found dead in an industrial park about a mile from New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez's home was a homicide victim. They've identified the victim as 27-year-old Odin Lloyd. Lloyd's family says he had connections to Hernandez but hasn't elaborated.
